I also taught french at the Beijing Languages and Cultural University in China and after that I started a master’s degree. In the back scene of what seemed like a great academic path I was heavily depressed, would party a lot, and drink to numb away the feeling of doom and sadness of this incarnation. I had lots of friends and a supportive family but never really felt at home in myself and my surroundings. After consulting a psychotherapist, I began a journey of reconnecting with my emotions and make decisions in accordance to them. By doing so, I realised the importance of freeing ourselves from social constructs and following our hearts desires. I reconnected with the activities that used to bring me joy such as music, wicca, art, dance and service to others. I started coming online with my other perceptive senses and remembered a path I had begun much earlier in life… that of healing and awakening. You could say I’ve followed the Indigo child pattern. At a young age, I talked to nature’s spirits and secretly practiced magic. I was initiated in Reiki at age 11 and was very intuitive as a child. After my «reawakening» in adulthood, I received sound healing sessions to help treat my depression and other relational issues, and it was a total revelation for me. I then started to research on this incredible healing modality and did a sound healing training with an experienced sound healer. A tranquille revolution that I could also notice in women around me. In my spiritual quest to better understand my energy field, I was being asked to allocate more time to rest, self-care, connecting to nature and meditation. I participated in women healing circles that were also a huge revelation for me. I realized how «masculine» critical and demanding I was towards myself. How I undervalued the feminine in general ; identifying myself way more with «masculine» qualities like rationality, logic, performance and emotional control. To my own surprise, I discovered how detrimental it was for the female body and soul. I was still yet to meet the immense power that was waiting for me inside my own womb. Thus began a huge cycle of clearing ancestral trauma, present life sexual trauma, closed heart and victimization of the feminine in me. I had to observe and feel how much of the patriarchal system I had internalized, and deconstruct all of it. In doing so, I developed an interest in the history of women… the witches, the shamans, the priestesses, the godesses, the medecine women and other manifestation of the Divine feminine (yin) principle and how overtly oppressed it has been on planet Earth. As poetic as it is to reconnect with the power of unconditional love towards the Self and Others, it has been a huge rollercoaster ride with many spiritual initiations. J’ai entamé une maîtrise sans toutefois la compléter. J’ai également enseigné le français à l’Université des langues et cultures de Beijing en Chine. Dans l’arrière-scène de ce qui semblait être un parcours académique sans embûche, j’étais fortement déprimée, je faisais la fête très souvent et je buvais régulièrement pour engourdir les sentiments de malheur et de tristesse que l’incarnation humaine faisaient naître en moi. J’avais beaucoup d’amis et une famille aimante qui me soutenaient, mais je me suis rarement sentie chez moi, dans mon corps comme dans mon environnement. Après avoir consulté une psychothérapeute, j’ai commencé un long périple pour apprendre à me reconnecter à mes émotions et prendre des décisions en fonction de celles-ci. Ce faisant, j’ai réalisé l’importance de nous libérer des constructions sociales et de suivre les désirs de notre coeur. J’ai renoué avec les activités qui m’apportaient de la joie comme la musique, la méditation, l’art, la danse et les soins aux autres. J’ai connecté avec mes sens perceptifs plus sensibles et je me suis souvenue d’un chemin que j’avais commencé beaucoup plus tôt dans la vie… celui de la guérison et de l’éveil spirituel. On pourrait dire que j’ai suivi le modèle de l’enfant Indigo. Très jeune, je parlais aux esprits de la nature et pratiquais secrètement la magie. J’ai été initiée au Reiki à l’âge de 11 ans et j’étais très intuitive étant enfant. Après mon « réveil » à l’âge adulte, j’ai reçu des séances de guérison par le son pour m’aider à traiter ma dépression et autres problèmes relationnels, et ce fut une révélation totale pour moi. Une révolution tranquille que j’ai pu remarquer aussi chez les femmes autour de moi. Dans ma quête spirituelle pour mieux comprendre mon âme, j’ai été appelé à allouer plus de temps au repos, aux soins personnels, à la connexion à la nature et à la méditation. J’ai participé à des cercles de femmes et cela a aussi été une énorme révélation pour moi. J’ai réalisé à quel point j’étais « masculin », critique et exigeant envers moi-même. À ma propre surprise, j’ai découvert à quel point c’était préjudiciable et nuisible pour le corps et l’âme des femmes. Je n’avais pas encore rencontré l’immense pouvoir qui m’attendait dans mon propre bas-ventre. Ainsi commença un énorme cycle de guérison des traumatismes ancestraux, des traumatismes sexuels, de l’armure que je portais autour du coeur et de la victimisation du féminin en moi. J’ai dû observer et ressentir à quel point j’avais intériorisé le système patriarcal. Ce faisant, j’ai développé un intérêt pour l’histoire méconnue des femmes… des sorcières, des chamanes, des prêtresses, des déesses, des femmes-médecines et d’autres manifestations du principe féminin sacré (yin) et à quel point il a été violemment opprimé sur la planète Terre. J’honore et je salue la lutte des femmes qui m’ont précédée. Aussi poétique que cela soit de renouer avec le pouvoir de l’amour inconditionnel pour Soi et les Autres, ce fut une immense montagne russe jonchée de nombreuses initiations spirituelles.
